September: Rooted

There is something growing here....

...Because blooming begins at the roots

Maybe you've been moving so quickly

that you forgot what it feels like to be still.

Maybe you've been reaching for what's next

without noticing what is already holding you.

Maybe you don't need to go anywhere at all.

This month's theme is about grounding.

Returning to the body.

Returning to nature.

Learning to slow down enough to notice what has been here all along.

An evening to put your hands in the earth,

take a breath,

and remember that you are allowed to grow slowly.

You don't have to bloom yet...

Just put down your roots.
